Preparations for the Experiment
The experiment is as simple as it sounds. Basically, it requires two pots for planting two tomato seeds inside. One of the pots will be given a magnifying glass and the other will not have anything to enhance its photosynthesis rate. During this experiment, the two pots will be placed outside of a south-facing
window to be able to receive the most amount of sunlight. Water should be limited
because low temperature can freeze water inside plant cells which could damage
the plant itself. It is highly recommended that the plants each receive around 1/2 cup of water each day. Each day the experimenter must check on the plants and make qualitative observations based on what they saw.
